The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:15 to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat. Enter through the wooden gate outside the venue. Between the ceremony and the reception, there will be a "Zoo Hour" - guests are invited to explore the zoo and the Japanese botanical garden between 4:00 - 5:00. We will provide snacks you can take with you on your adventure! Starting at 5:00, guests may return to the ceremony/reception hall to enjoy the open bar before dinner. Dinner will start around 5:45! From there, we party! The night will wind down with a last call at 9:45pm.
We LOVE dressing up, and we want you to join us. Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire - the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. Please avoid colors such as cream or white that are traditionally reserved for the bride.
The Topeka Zoo has a large parking lot directly outside the venue. Once you park, you will enter the venue through the wooden gate at the south end of the parking lot! We want to make sure everyone gets home safely - so if you need to leave your car there overnight, please do. The venue has requested that you move your car by 9:00am on Sunday due to the Zoo opening!
The sooner, the better! We ask that you RSVP by October 1. After that date, unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any additional RSVPs and will mark them as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates.
To accommodate the spacing requirements at our venue, we are limiting the guest list to those who received an invitation - if you were given a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. This also applies to children that are not related to the bride and groom - use this wedding as a date night and enjoy yourselves!
