Our story began with a simple message on social media—but from the start, it felt like something more. Just a week later, we met in person at church, and from that very first date, we both knew: this was different. It was love at first sight, but also a deep sense of peace and connection. We found ourselves talking about marriage almost immediately. He thought she was absolutely beautiful. She saw a man who was kind, respectful, and well-mannered. One lunch after church sealed it for us—we had found something real, something rare. Our journey since then has been filled with both joy and growth. As committed Christians, we’ve done our best to honor God in our relationship. It hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has drawn us closer. We’ve shared our love for science, endless sitcoms, and most importantly, our faith. From attending every Christian concert we could find to simply spending quiet time together, our bond has only deepened. After two years of learning about each other, the proposal came in the most unexpected way—sweet and spontaneous. He asked her what she would think if he sent the lobola letter at the end of February. She laughed, thinking he was joking. But he wasn’t. On April 5th, we celebrated our customary wedding day—our lobola—with friends and family surrounding us. It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment. The very next day, we stood before our church, House of the Lord Church International, and publicly committed ourselves to one another and to God. Marriage means everything to us. It’s the foundation of our future, and we believe its success will bless every part of our lives. We’re looking forward to building a warm, peaceful home filled with love, faith, and purpose—and to growing careers that reflect the gifts God has placed within us.
