As many times as Matt will tell you that I ran into his car, even though we lived 71 miles away from each other, just know he is lying. We met as most people in 2019 - on a dating app. But, thank god, Matt thought I was cute enough to put effort into saying something witty. And, thank god, that I have very divisive opinions on breakfast cereal that I needed to defend. Because without that we would have never met that Saturday, in Rochester - the place where we first learned to hate something, not as individuals, but to hate something together. Matt and I met for the first time on September 7, 2019. We made our relationship official on September 22, 2019. We confessed our love to each on October 13, 2019. We decided to get married on October 15, 2019. We almost went to the courthouse right away. But when we thought again, we decided we wanted our friends and family to join in the fun. Although we haven't known each other long, it feels like we've known each other forever. People say, "When you know, you know." And we know that we are ready to face life not as individuals, but as partners. We hope to celebrate with you on January 25, 2020.
