FAQs

If you have any other questions than the ones listed here - feel free to text either of us or email us at ctonnulee@gmail.com!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, July 24th, 2021! A prompt reply is very appreciated as we're trying to get a headcount to finalize plans. We'll make sure to send out a few reminders in between now and then for any last-minute folks! Absolutely no worries if you aren't able to make it; we appreciate you for being there in spirit :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to limited space, we were not able to invite everyone's +1, so please check your invitation!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have reached out to individual families already regarding whether their children are invited. We apologize that we couldn't have everybody come due to limited seating. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be ample parking space right outside the ceremony and reception site! Please make sure to follow the Lee + Tonnu Wedding signs upon arrival to Waldenwoods. You may park wherever you like. There are two outdoor tents at Waldenwoods - we'll be in the smaller one closer to the lake, in front of the big white house (The Sunshine Lodge).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, so please arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to give yourself ample time to park, mingle, and locate the ceremony site. You should see the white arch right in front of the big white house!

Question

Where can I sit at the ceremony?

Answer

The first two rows of the ceremony will be reserved for family (you should see some reserved signs) - otherwise you may sit wherever you like!

Question

Is the reception right after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, the reception will start after the ceremony! There will be a cocktail hour with a few refreshments following the ceremony.

Question

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having one person designated to record the ceremony. At this time we kindly ask that you put away your phones throughout so that our wedding photographer can move around freely. There will be ample time for photos afterwards!

Question

I have a food allergy/restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, kindly inform us when you RSVP or e-mail us at ctonnulee@gmail.com.

Question

What type of food will we be having?

Answer

Dinner will be a buffet-style meal, please help yourself to either (or both!) entrees! The dessert table will open following dinner.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that guests wear semi-formal to formal attire (especially something that gets you out on the dance floor!)

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear? Should I bring a jacket?

Answer

We also recommend that guests do not wear stilettos due to the soft grass and gravel that might be hard to walk on. Additionally, please note that we are closer to the lake, so there will be a cooler breeze in the evening. Plan to bring a jacket if you get cold easily!

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

Please note that your presence is a gift enough! But if you're feeling particularly generous there is a registry tab right at the top of our website. Any help to get us started as we plan to move out to Seattle in September will be appreciated and memorialized.

Question

How are you keeping guests safe against COVID-19?

Answer

We are closely monitoring the Delta-variant and any CDC guidelines. We ask that if you are feeling unwell or are having any symptoms (cough, fever, body aches, new loss of taste or smell, etc), please refrain from coming and stay home to rest. Both the bride & groom are vaccinated, will be getting tested before the wedding, and our event will be entirely outdoors. We are not requiring masks at this time, but should our venue be moved into an enclosed space, we will respond appropriately by having masks on except when eating or drinking. (Please pray for good weather!) We are asking all guests and vendors who are attending in person to be vaccinated beforehand. Vendors will be asked to wear a mask while serving food. If vaccination is not possible (and we understand it may not be), we will be reaching out regarding assisting with COVID testing 48-72 hours before the wedding. Thank you for understanding and trying to keep us all as safe as we can be!
