Alexa and Sydney have been best friends since kindergarten, and from the very beginning they've been inseparable. They grew up sharing endless inside jokes, spending entire summers at each other’s houses, and building the kind of friendship that feels like soulmates in disguise. She’s been by Sydney's side through every season of life, and she's so grateful to have her standing with her on this special day.
Preston
Best Man
Preston and Ryan have been freinds since they were 10, growing up just down the street from each other. They played hockey and lacrosse together and spent a lot of summers skateboarding and hanging out every chance they got. They've stayed close through all kinds of stages over the years, including "working" together at Famoso in their early 20s. Preston's been part of so many of Ryan's best memories, so having him as a best man was an easy choice.
Talissa

Talissa and Sydney have been close friends since high school, but they became especially close during the time when they were the only ones from their friend group left in Calgary after high school. Somewhere between navigating those years together and leaning on each other for everything, we became each other’s right arm. Talissa became a person Sydney can always count on, the one who shares the best laughs and endless inside jokes, and someone who has been by her side through every season of life. Sydney feels so lucky to have had her friendship all these years, and even luckier to have her standing with her on her wedding day.
Justin
Groomsman
Justin is Ryan's older brother, three years ahead and always around growing up. They spent a lot of time riding bikes, playing street hockey, and joking around with the same sense of humor. Ryan enjoyed going to many of Justins lacrosse games, and the two of them were always out front playing catch and working on their shot; which the garage never fully recovered from. Justin's always been a big part of Ryan's life, and Ryan feels so lucky to have him stand with him on this big day.

Heather and Sydney became friends while teaching at the same school, what started as coworkers quickly turned into a little bit of “trauma bonding” after COVID and a whole lot of laughter. There’s nothing like navigating school days together to fast-track a friendship! From spontaneous trips to Canmore to wine-filled weekends in the Okanagan, they've made some of the greatest memories side by side. Heather the kind of friend who can turn any day around with the best advice, a perfectly timed witty comment, and unwavering support. Sydney is so lucky that what started in the classroom turned into such a meaningful, joy-filled friendship, and even luckier to have her standing with her on this day.
Bryce

Bryce is Ryan's younger brother, six years behind and grew up with two older brothers who kept things interesting. He's always brought a calmer, more easygoing energy, and a thick skin from years of keeping up with Ryan and Justin. Whether it was putting up with their jokes or just shaking his head at them, Bryce has always taken it in stride. As they've gotten older, Ryan has really come to appreciate that about him, and is excited to have Bryce by his side and in his life for everything ahead.
