We're getting married!

Amanda and Vincent met at the very end of their college years at UC Berkeley in the middle of the pandemic. Returning to Berkeley from home, Vincent was back to move out of his apartment, and Amanda was returning for a graduation photoshoot that afternoon in May 2021. That photoshoot happened to be with Vincent’s old roommate, Ryan (our best man!), and Vincent just happened to be home after doing some grocery shopping. The silence was so awkward that Vincent felt compelled to say hello. A week later, the two met for their first date after Amanda braved a harrowing drive to Berkeley from San Ramon, with Kaylee (one of our bridesmaids!) in the passenger seat. Though Vincent returned home to Seattle for the summer, he and Amanda kept talking, and talking, and talking some more, while Amanda started her first big-girl job and Vincent gallivanted all over the trails and mountains of Washington (with Ethan, another groomsman!). They each came to realize that “this quirky guy / gal is someone special!”, and began dating once Vincent moved back to the Bay Area to start work in San Francisco. After two years of trips to Kukje Supermarket on Junipero Serra, walks around the streets (and cemeteries...) of Colma, home-cooked salmon bowls and tomato and egg noodles, ski-trips and holiday parties, and long drives across the Bay Bridge to see one another, Amanda and Vincent are excited to continue their (mis)adventures and start their life, together.
