It was a gorgeous Wednesday evening, May 10th, 2018, when Jonathan's phone buzzed. In the midst of rehearsal for his last concert with his former band and last minute ticket buyers, Jonathan didn't think too much of it and continued to casually read the message. In shock, a great friend of his had informed him she had "just talked to Melly Reed for 30 mins about you and she wants to meet you." Now, Jonathan had been known to a few to have quite the crush on Melissa through their social media connection, and her bubbling personality that was so freely, and genuinely on display. So for this text to come through was not just shocking, it was unbelievable. Reluctantly Jonathan held off texting Melissa through the night. He wasn't sure he was ready to talk to a woman who he held in such high regard. It was the next morning that the decision was made to open up the door for what turned out to be his home after all.
