Elevated Western - Our ceremony takes place on a working ranch, so think boots that can handle the ground, paired with dressy western outfits — long dresses, skirts, jackets, suits, hats, and clean denim. Please avoid casual ranch wear or playful costume pieces so the overall look stays sophisticated.
As much as we love them, this will be an adults-only celebration, 18 years of age or older. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope this gives everyone a chance to kick back and enjoy the evening.
As much as we love pups, the ranch doesn’t allow outside dogs. They have working ranch dogs on site, and for everyone’s safety and comfort, no guest pets are permitted.
If you’d like to bring your horse, that’s absolutely okay — we just need a heads-up! Please reach out to Ash or Dylan beforehand so the ranchers can prepare proper space and arrangements.
Parking is available on-site, but please note that the roads and parking areas are dirt. We recommend giving yourself a little extra time and wearing appropriate footwear for uneven ground.
Yes — our ceremony will be fully outdoors, and the reception has very minimal coverage. Please plan for open-air conditions and bring any layers you may want for an October ranch evening.
Cowboy hats are absolutely encouraged but not required. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing baseball caps.
We aren’t providing transportation, and Uber hasn’t discovered this tiny town yet. The good news: the venue is less than a quarter mile from town and totally walkable.
Yes — all areas of the venue are located close together. However, the ground is natural ranch terrain (grass and dirt), which can be slightly uneven or bumpy in spots. Please plan footwear accordingly.
Early arrivals are totally okay — enjoy the scenery! Just know the bride and groom will be tucked away getting ready, so don’t expect us until it’s time to walk down the aisle.
Yes! We’ll have champagne for guests before the ceremony, followed by a dinner that’s mainly meat-based, with vegetarian options available for anyone who prefers them. Our drink selection includes beer, wine, champagne, water, and soft drinks. We ask that no outside hard liquor be brought onto the ranch unless previously approved or gifted
We ask that guests refrain from taking photos outside of the approved times, which will be announced during the ceremony. We want everyone to experience the moment together, and we’ll have a professional photographer capturing everything for you to enjoy later.
Cell service is available but can be spotty in certain areas of the ranch.
Yes — on-site camping is available for a small fee and requires a waiver. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can coordinate arrangements with the venue.
The reception will take place on-site, just steps from the ceremony location. It will be fully outdoors with a small covered area available.
October in this area can be unpredictable — warm in the afternoon and chilly once the sun sets. We recommend bringing layers, jackets, and anything you’ll want for a cool fall evening outdoors.
Since we’re on a working ranch with grass and dirt, we recommend comfortable and sturdy shoes. Boots, block heels, or flats will be easiest on the terrain. Thin stilettos may sink into the ground.
Yes! Seating will be provided for both the ceremony and reception. You won’t need to bring chairs or blankets unless you personally prefer extra comfort for the evening.
No — for the safety and comfort of the ranch animals, smoking and vaping aren’t allowed anywhere on the property. We truly appreciate your cooperation in keeping the animals calm and happy.
Yes! The ranch has clean, well-maintained restrooms available for guests throughout the event.
If you choose to bring a physical gift, a small designated table will be available at the reception. But no pressure at all — your presence is truly the gift.
Absolutely. Many of our guests are traveling from out of state, so shipping a gift is more than welcome. Our Zola registry makes it easy to send items directly to our home.
YES! We’ll have an outdoor dance floor, great music, and plenty of space to kick up your boots. Bring your best moves — or your two-step!
The ceremony and reception will proceed outdoors unless weather becomes severe. The venue has limited covered space, so we recommend bringing warm layers and weather-friendly outerwear just in case.
Yes! Feel free to take photos during the reception and share your favorite moments. Just remember that the ceremony will be phone-free except during the announced photo-friendly times.
Yes! There will be a fire pit available, and we have the option to set up patio heaters if the evening gets chilly.
No — please come prepared with any layers or items you may want for a cool October night.
The reception may continue until 9:00 PM.
Yes, overnight parking is perfectly fine.
Please avoid using flash. There will be plenty of ambient lighting, and this helps keep the atmosphere consistent for photos and guests.
No. Drones are not permitted on the property.
The venue is a working ranch, so you may encounter some bugs, though fewer in the fall. Livestock will be in the surrounding fields, and horses may be nearby. Ranch dogs may also be present. All animals will remain in enclosed or designated areas.
No payments are needed during the event. If you wish to contribute to our future home as a gift, there will be a designated area for that — otherwise, nothing additional is required.
There will be a designated spot for personal items, but access may be limited depending on the flow of the event. Please store items with care and bring only what you need.
No guide is necessary — the layout is very open, and everything is visible from the street and entry areas.
The venue sits on natural ranch land with grass and dirt. The ground may be uneven, so please use caution.
Yes, tipping is allowed and always appreciated.
There will be standing room available at the back. We encourage guests to arrive early or on time, but we understand delays happen. If you arrive late, please remain in the back until someone can guide you to your seat.
We kindly ask for no formal speeches. Instead, we will have a notes box and a guest diary where you’re welcome to leave handwritten letters or messages for us to read as newlyweds.
