Our story began in September 2024. We crossed paths after a local conference, and what we both thought would be just another simple “hello” turned out to be the beginning of something far greater. A few months later, Leena visited a youth service at New Life Missionary Church and encountered Moisei again. During that conversation, they discovered they both served in teens ministry at their churches. Naturally, they decided to collaborate and plan an event together for their teens groups. Once again, what seemed like just another ministry event was quietly leading to something even greater. In early 2025, the event finally took place, and the teens went ice skating together. Over the following months, Moisei and Leena continued seeing each other at conferences, casually catching up and talking about ministry. Until one moment, where Moisei began to get interested in Leena and those conversations began to mean more. Not long after, Leena visited Moisei’s youth service once more. As she was leaving, she told her friend, “If any guy were to pursue me right now, the only guy I would say yes to is Moisei.” Words have power — and just three days later, those words began to come true. Three days later, Moisei began pursuing Leena. On May 29, 2025, they went on their first date, and it didn’t take long for them to realize they loved one another. Ever since then they have been best friends, growing in love. Now, they are so excited to celebrate the beginning of their covenant together with all of you.
