MBTA and the T
The "T" is a great public transportation system in Boston, Cambridge, and other suburbs. The sailing pavilion and Walker Memorial are a 5 minute walk from the MIT/Kendall Square station on the Red Line. The Silver Line also provides public transportation to and from Boston Logan airport. It is free to take the Silver Line from the airport to South Station where you can connect to other subway lines. To take it back to the airport, you will have to pay the fare. A Charlie Card is the "T" payment card. You can load it with day passes or cash to use throughout the weekend.
