I recommend if you have time. Depending on how many people are going might be worth getting an annual pass as you get a 50% off pass with an annual pass. (just FYI LMK) also you can take in water bottles and snacks and a backpack. :)
La Jolla Cove
Fun place to see the seals and sea lions. Really busy on the weekends but still worth going. Free parking. Fancy shops and restaurants with lovely views.
Balboa Park
Botanical Building

Pacific Beach
Popular place for locals. Many restaurants, including an IOWA bar (Pacific Beach AleHouse), you can walk down the boardwalk or walk out on the pier! Pacific Beach is where we meet and got ENGAGED!! Right in front of Waterbar :)
Sunset Cliffs
Amazing place to watch sunset. Free parking! You can walk along the sidewalk or down on the paths. Also you can bring a blanket and snacks! Not beachy more like cliffs but GORGEOUS no matter what time of day.

Torrey Pines State Beach
Gorgeous views!! Parking can be challenging. There is a fee to pay for the lot however it is possible to find street parking it may just take a moment to find it. There is a very large steep hill you must climb so please keep this in mind if you come. Plan to spend over an hour here! and it could take 15 min to find parking.
