We're Finally Doing This!

Hi Everyone!! So as most of you know, Tucker has enlisted into the Army and will be gone for basic training and job training from August 2020 to March 2021. Once he is done in March with all of his trainings he will receive his post location! We are so excited to go on this new adventure together. However, due to the craziness of the world and the possibility of COVID still being around, we ask you to hold off on booking any hotels until we get closer to the wedding date. If COVID is still around and there are travel restrictions this could prohibit Tucker from having his vacation time from the Army approved and the wedding would need to be postponed. We want to make sure you all are aware of the possibilities that could happen with the wedding. We plan to send final invitations out in February; this is when we are hoping we have a better idea of Tucker's post location and his approval of vacation time. We love you all so much and are beyond excited to celebrate our marriage and life with you! Thanks for continuing to support us in this adventure. <3 Tucker and Leeann

We met at 5:30am during a CrossFit class in Winchester. Leeann was not fully awake yet when Tucker started to show off his rope climbing skills. She was not impressed at first, but grew to look forward to going to the gym at 5:30am just to see and talk to Tucker.

We became friends and closer through the gym. We used the gym as an excuse to hang out and spend time together. Eventually, we started to see each other outside of the gym. Our first date consisted of a hike to Harpers Ferry that was full of nonstop conversation and lots of laughs. A few days later, we went to dinner at our favorite pizza place, Roma's, and shortly after dinner Tucker finally asked Leeann to be his girlfriend.

We were sitting in our living room writing down goals for the next year. Tucker wrote one of his goals was to write a book. A few minutes later he abruptly stood up and decided to put his laundry in the washer. He came out of the laundry room and sat down next to Leeann on the couch. Tucker proceeded to tell her that he already accomplished the goal of writing a book and handed Leeann a book titled "The Reasons Why." Leeann awkwardly read the book aloud at Tucker's request. The book consisted of every reason why Tucker loves Leeann and on the last page it said, "Will you marry me?" Leeann looked up and Tucker was down on one knee with a ring in his hand! Leeann freaked out in excitement and of course said YES!
