How will I get to the venue ("Cypress Trees Plantation") if I'm staying on Edisto?

Answer

If you're staying on Edisto Beach, we have a bus available to pick you up from the Bi-Lo on Edisto Beach and bring you to the venue. The venue is about 10 minutes from the beach. More details on that soon regarding timing. The bus is smaller so will require multiple trips. You can always text or call us with questions.

How will I get to the venue ("Cypress Trees Plantation") if I'm staying in Charleston?

Answer

If you're staying in Charleston, the bus to the venue will leave from the Hyatt House in downtown Charleston at 3:30p on Saturday. Please don't be late for the bus! You *might* be able to get an Uber/Lyft or taxi down to Edisto if you miss the bus, but you can ride the bus home on the way back. *It will be nearly impossible to get an Uber/Lyft/taxi from Edisto back to Charleston, so don't count on that!*

What is there to do in Edisto?

There are a couple of cute restaurants on the island. If you are there Friday night, come see us at Ella and Ollie's on the southern end of the island for a welcoming party at 8p!

If I start driving to Edisto with a close-to-empty gas tank, what should I do?

Answer

Hike up your britches because it's going to be a long walk. Once you leave Charleston and get to Edisto, there is only *ONE* gas station ("EnMarket"). Leeanna knows from experience that you do not want to be running on fumes when you get on Edisto.
