We met when Lee's Son Jared was in Daycare and I was one of his caretakers. We lost touch until one day, we ran into each other in the Deli at Pecan Square. We chatted a bit and discovered that life had taken an unexpected turn for both of us. Oddly enough BOTH of our spouses had left around the same time. BOTH of us believed in the sanctity of marriage and refused to give our spouses divorces, forcing them to wait the full two years the law allows. BOTH of us were at the point we could no longer stop it and were about to finalize divorces right in the same time frame! A little time passed and we chatted on Facebook, became friends and went on a double date with friends. The rest is history. We have become the best of friends and shared many adventures getting to know each other, battled out our differences and put the fear of the past behind us. This past February 14, after dinner at Mogan's in downtown Salisbury Lee finally popped the question. There is no doubt God's timing is perfect and He gives beauty for ashes! Finally after all these years we will join hearts and homes in a small private ceremony with family. For us it's about a marriage not a wedding, love will always be a verb not a feeling, and forever is forever.<3
