Maid of Honor
Rocío and I were mission companions in Puerto Cabezas (Nicaragua) and have had each others' backs ever since then. We were roommates her first year in Utah, which is also when I met Ely. She figured out we were going to get married WAY before Ely and I did. :)
Matron of Honor
I met Hayley when she got engaged to one of my best friends in 2012, and we hit it off immediately! She's been like a sister to me since then, including when her family moved out of state for school. I am so glad she's back!
Bridesmaid
I've known Jessi her whole life so trust me when I tell you she's pretty cool. She's the best sister a girl can ask for and an unmatched hypeman, and her support and artistic eye have been so wonderful to have around my whole life and especially at this special time.
Bridesmaid
You know that Lee and Ely were meant to be together because they both have sisters named Jessi/Jessie! Jessica is Lee's go-to for chick flicks/chick shows and sharing new foods, whether that's at a restaurant or a family movie night.
Bridesmaid
Ely introduced me to his older sister Heidy after we'd only been dating a few months, and we got along so well that I told him I'd stay friends with her even if we broke up. It's been great having Heidy in my corner and supporting both of us ever since then, and I'm thrilled to officially be part of her family!
Bridesmaid
Ely's younger sister Genesis brings the party with her wherever she goes. Pretty much any activity gets more fun and more exciting with her around. She is the hype woman you want on your team and she's going to amp up the reception dance floor for sure!
Bridesmaid
Kyla and I met at a KOA the day we both reported to Philmont for our first summers on staff. We both have wacky laughs and used them often enough that many of our Philmont friends started to wonder if all Mormon girls laugh like us. We'd tell them that they wished they did. :) We roomed together for 2 years in college and our neighbors always knew when something funny was happening in our apartment.
Bridesmaid
Sarah married in to the Timpview Brain Trust a few years ago and quickly became like a sister to Lee. She has great taste in every respect and abounds in good humor. She also has one of the coolest jobs and cutest babies around.
Father of the Bride
Scott can be blamed for most of Lee's idiosyncracies, and boy is she grateful for them. She was once told in high school that she writes like her dad speaks, and she's been working on upping that game ever since. You'll never meet another jazz-and-opera-loving, trilingual, over-educated, survivalist cowboy quite like him, and once you do, you'll wish you could forget some of his jokes.
Mother of the Bride
If you don't already know Davi, you are in for a treat when you do meet her! I'm sure that my mom has more love, gentleness, and kindness in her heart than any other human being, and you can feel it in her hugs. She's also a trailblazer: waiting until her 30s to marry, getting a master's degree, and changing career tracks, all before it was cool. I want to be like her when I grow up!
Bridesman
Caleb and Lee met at Philmont and were in the same Camp Director cohort in 2015. They've been good friends and "pen palls" ever since, and thousands of miles nor state lines prevent them from staying up-to-date on each others' lives and being each others' cheerleaders.
