How We Met

We met at the gym when lee came up to me, Courtney, while I was squatting. Introduced him self and asked me if I needed a spot. After that we started chatting more, few months later he finally worked up the nerve to ask me for my number and asked me out on a date.

How he proposed

11/7/16

We were out in Chicago for a day training, shopping, and having dinner. Little did I, Courtney, know that Lee had something else in mind! Once we were all done training we changed into something nice and headed to the mall. While shopping I asked Lee, if we should look at some rings. He looked at me, smiled, grabbed my hand and took me to the nearest jeweler. There were a few rings I liked. We took some cards, numbers, and pictures. It was getting late and we had reservations Lee made at a fine dinning restaurant, White Chocolate Grill, in Naperville IL, not far from the mall. As we arrived Lee jumped out of the car before I could get it in park and asked me to pop the trunk. As Lee was digging around I had got out and he had panicked not wanting me to see what he was shoving down his pants, (his pants were to tight to fit anything in his pockets.) He asked me to grabbed a thing that was in the front. I'm questioning him trying to see what is doing. Confused I asked, "what thing?" "You know that thing that you need your umm, wallet!' "Babe I got my wallet, now what are you looking for?" I walked around to the trunk and he slammed the door all shaken "my coat but I must have left it at home." After all the fuss we finally sat in a big booth that he asked me to move around in at least 5 times. He also had went to the rest room several times. Once we were finished eating and ordered 2 massive desserts because we couldn't agree on one, Lee had come back from the restroom for the last time, and asked me to move to the end of the booth. A little frustrated I complained and questioned him on why he wanted me to move again, I finally moved. We looked at each other for a minute and Lee got down on one knee. He asked, and I said yes. He took the ring out and put it on my finger and kissed me. Our server came over with the desserts and Lee shared the good news! It was great day and to end with that made it perfect.
