As she searched for an online distraction, fate intervened, leading her to cross paths with LaMonne on June 29th, 2020. A Tuskegee University graduate, LaMonne's profile picture caught Leeana's eye. Their conversation was effortless, with both discovering they both graduated with a degree in biology. Looking back, it's clear that if it weren't for the pandemic, Leeana and LaMonne may never have met.
