We value that our guest list is one that includes those near and dear to us. Because of the small size of our event, only those who are named on the invitation are invited. We want everyone to feel comfortable, and will ensure that you are around familiar and friendly company. Thank you for your understanding!
The dress code is springtime semi formal. We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Short or full length dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or shirts and slacks are all great options. Here is a link to explain different dress codes: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained#toc-cocktail We kindly ask that you do not wear white or anything that will show up as white in photos. If you have any questions regarding attire, feel free to reach out to us.
We've hired a photographer to capture our day and will be asking for a fully unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from use of all electronics until cocktail hour. Additionally, please remember to silence your cell phones and Apple watches. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception! We will share our professional photos with guests once they become available.
The weather in New England is pretty unpredictable at this time of year. We might get very hot summer temperatures in the 80s or 90s, or chilly rain and 50s. The good news is that both our ceremony and reception are indoors and air conditioned!
Our wish is for you to be there with us on the happiest day of our lives. We know how many of you are traveling to be here, and it means the world to us. If you would still like to get us a gift, we will have a secure place to store gifts at the venue. We also have our registry tabbed on this website.
Lauren will take Sylvie's last name. Sylvie will remain Sylvie Lednicky, and Lauren will become Lauren Lednicky.
We will be following all state and local guidance for health and safety protocols. We highly encourage all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including boosters) before attending. Masks are optional at the event, but are welcomed for those who feel most comfortable with one on. Additionally, please consider taking a COVID test before traveling to North Adams, and please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms or feeling ill. We will miss you, but want to ensure the health and wellness of all our guests and vendors!
Nope! For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. However, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are seated with those they know. We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who may not know one another, and we hope this choice can put some of you at ease!
The venue is fully ADA compliant! Please let us know in your RSVP if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There is ample parking at MASS MoCA, but we encourage folks to stay within walking distance from the venue so you can enjoy the open bar!
