What does Semi Formal mean?

Answer

Semi Formal is formal evening wear. For men, this means a suit, or dress pants paired with a nice dress shirt! For women, it means a full-length gown, an elegant cocktail dress, or a dressy church dress.

Are jeans allowed?

Answer

Absolutely not. No jeans, denim, cargo pants, sneakers, or anything casual. This is a Semi Formal event, and we’d love for everyone to dress the part — it’s a special occasion!

Will we be outside?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to be outdoors (weather permitting), so plan accordingly. The reception will be held indoors!

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we truly love your little ones, we are kindly requesting a kid-free celebration. We'd love for our guests to enjoy a relaxed, elegant evening without the stress of parenting duties. That said, there will be a few children present due to close family and special exceptions. We hope you understand and can join us for a well-deserved night out!

Can I bring a plus one or additional guests?

Due to our venue capacity and our desire to keep the celebration intimate, we kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we’re keeping the guest list limited to our closest friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

Will alcohol be served at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely not — we’ll be keepin’ it sweet and simple with plenty of sweet tea, fresh lemonade, and good ol’ water to sip on. Y’all won’t go thirsty!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block available for our guests at The Hampton Inn In Commerce,GA! If you would like to book accommodations please ask for the Henson/Ledford Block Rate at the time of booking!
