How We Met

From Sub to Hub

As many of you know, both of us are science teachers and so our love story naturally begins in the classroom. In May 2016, Charlie was assigned a substitute teaching job for Bianca's 7th grade science class while she was pulled from her class to assist with STAAR countdown. Being Bianca's first year teaching, she made sure to be very thorough with her substitute notes and dropped by at the beginning of 1st period to discuss the day with Charlie. As soon as they both locked eyes there was chemistry. Students obviously noticed the spark and would ask Charlie throughout the day questions like, "Do you like our teacher?" "Do you think she's pretty" etc. Bianca and Charlie started a quick friendship and ended the school year with an exchange of phone numbers. The rest is history! With this very unique story we decided to claim the hashtag #fromsubtohub to remember how school bells led to wedding bells.

COVID-19 Precautions

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise we ask that all of our guests take the following precautions leading up to our wedding day. If you should experience any signs of symptoms, test positive, or come in contact with someone who has tested positive in the last two weeks please quarantine yourself. We will understand if you are no longer able to attend due to illness. We ask that you follow the CDC guidelines and recommendations for the safety of our loved ones and ourselves. We will be taking temperatures upon arrival to the ceremony and ask that all guests practice social distancing when possible and wear a mask when not eating or drinking. We will have masks and sanitizing stations throughout the venue for your convenience and, yes, there will still be dancing ;) Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon to celebrate our big day!
