We're getting married!

Katie and Mark met at a busy restaurant at the Jersey Shore one Friday summer evening. From opposite ends of the room, they mingled among their own friends until the dance floor and music brought them in the direction of one another. For hours he made her laugh while she listened to his stories. It was in this meeting that he shared his single-digit golf handicap, a self-proclaimed stud. Katie, a fan of the sport, she thought, "This is meant to be." By the end of the evening, Mark promised Katie that their first dinner was to take place the very next night, and sure enough, that Saturday evening became day two of their love story.

The air was warm, the sky was clear, and the sun was shining on the golf course that Wednesday evening at Harbor Lights in Warwick Neck, Rhode Island. The two made their way to a gazebo that overlooked the 16th hole and seated themselves at a high-top table. Mark excused himself momentarily leaving Katie to enjoy the summer scenery. She soon turned around to see Mark had returned, but this time on one knee (with a mask, of course) and asked Katie, "Will you be my best friend for ever?"
