Kit & I met while I worked at Lancôme and she had just started at Estée Lauder in 2013. It was so nice to have a person my age working there and I latched onto her quick! We became close, and still are to this day. Kit is decisive, smart, beautiful, meticulous and creative. She is someone that knows how to fix and make anything, and she is down to thrift, mall, or estate shop anytime. She’s always down to get dessert with me, too. One of our best memories is going on a trip to Venice beach together in 2014 and walking all the way to Santa Monica pier on the shoreline and then being attacked by pigeons upon arrival. We paid $20 to be photographed with this snake.
Logan Hedrick

Logan & I met in 2016 working on a telemetry unit at Littleton hospital. She moved super close and that was it. I was known for a pop-in here and there. We were always getting together for concerts, drinks, and backyard barbecues. In 2023, she moved to Lexington to pursue a career in equine medicine. She has a wonderful way with animals and recently rehabbed a horse! I miss seeing her almost everyday, terribly. Logan is laid back, personable, sparkly, empathetic and an all around good time. She has the best laugh ever! My best memory with Logan is hiking down to radium hot springs and enjoying a soak with a nudist, or our camping trip to Moab where she was in charge of food and only brought one spoon!

Kortney & I have known eachother since childhood! Our parents were all close growing up. We finally became close in our twenties and have SO many memories of wild times. She is a badass cardiac ICU nurse and I am forever in awe of her smarts. Kortney is a go getter type with a work ethic that’s other worldly. She is adorable, fun, and easy-going. It’s never a dull moment out with her! One evening we accidentally went to a high end sushi spot (aka high priced) before a Band of Horses concert. Needless to say we didn’t eat enough, she decided to be a southern belle. I accidentally dropped her giving her a piggy back ride into a bar and we were able to charm the bartender into letting us stay.

Sarah deserves a gold star for putting up with rooming with me for two years during Covid. We just decided on a whim to move in together after we both had a break-up. She tolerated my plant obsession and working opposite shifts. She’s a strikingly beautiful Viking-esque woman that’s always down to do anything. I used to love to do her makeup. She was definitely the calm in my storm, always maintaining composure and making me feel better. Sadly, she moved back home to the mini apple, but she knows she’s always got a bed at the condo! Here she is laughing at my blubbering incoherent speech at Ashley’s wedding. This sums up our relationship perfectly. Yes, she is a badass nurse, too!

Sarah is always one to show up when the going gets tough. She makes everything look easy from dance routines to being a parent. She commands attention when she walks into a room with her magnetic energy. Guess what? She’s a cath lab nurse. She is incredibly positive, hilarious, and an overall delight to have around. Sarah and I worked 2 different places together as RNs, and she showed up whenever our kickball team needed some female representation. She always made the workday go a lot quicker! My favorite memory of Sarah is watching her do the splits on the dance floor at Englewood’s very own incredibly, cash only, short lived Irish pub: McMullins.

The best mom ever, the hardest worker I know, and a stunning natural beauty. Ashley and I met working as CNAs on opposite shifts. She and I went on a wild, white water trash Florida beach trip in 2019 that we still talk about way too much (just ask her husband). We were both in the throes of challenging relationships for a long time. It was so beautiful to see her fall in love with someone worthy of her. There was once a time where we lived 15 blocks from eachother, now it’s 15,000 and I wish I saw her more. She was going to be a nurse, but came to her senses and is a CT technologist. She will always be my butterfly sister!

Wade is Logan’s boyfriend of nearly 10 years (propose already!) He tolerated Haley’s dating nonsense for several of those years. When Tommy arrived into the picture, he welcomed him with open arms and now they’re two peas in a pod. Wade is a genuine person, with a kind heart and pragmatic attitude. He will keep it short, sweet, and funny. He makes delicious barbecue chicken thighs as well.
