Danielle was working in Fell's Point at Papi's Tacos. One Friday, while she was bartending, some of her regulars showed up on their lunch break-but this time with someone new. Someone cute. "Hi, I'm Danielle...who are YOU?"...."Hi, I'm Eric". Immediately she started picking on him, giving him some banter, and he responded very well thanks to the 20oz margarita she made him enjoy!! A bunch of laughs, a bit of flirting, that very margarita & a meal later....they were headed back to work. The following week, her regulars came back in, but without their cute coworker to which Danielle greeted them with "Um, excuse me, where is my boyfriend?!". Days later there he was, sitting at the bar, patiently waiting to be served. <3 A few months of dates/hangouts later, we ended up celebrating both of our birthdays (which are weeks apart), hung out with friends around the city, met parents on both sides, & enjoyed some fun summertime together! Unfortunately, that relationship came to an end mid-summer for really stupid reasons! Fast forward 9, yes NINE, years....to Danielle waking up one morning, after a really nice & happy dream featuring Eric, grabbing her phone headed straight to the socials to look him up. Eric no longer had an online presence, but thankfully his number was still in her phone. During a casual text conversation getting back in touch, Eric didn't mention a girlfriend/fiancee or wife so Danielle asked him for a casual friend-date to catch up in person. On February 15, 2024, they met in the middle, from where they lived-Danielle in Hampden, Eric in Annapolis- at Bonefish in Glen Burnie. There was a LOT to catch up on--again, 9 years! After enjoying each other's company, they headed back to their homes. It took a whole 2 days for Eric to send the text "So, do I get to see you again sometime or do I have to wait another 9 years :) lol". Danielle couldn't say yes fast enough. And now, they are getting married. <3
