Walk across the pedestrian bridge where Brad asked Lauren to spend forever together! It's a beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi. In it's 19th-century heyday, this area of mills, canals, tailraces and other historic resources comprised the largest direct-drive water-powered facility in the world and was the leading international producer of flour, a commodity which was shipped both nationwide and worldwide.
This is a wonderful nature area in the middle of an urban area! It will be gorgeous with the fall colors at the end of October. It's a great place to walk & watch the rushing waterfall.
This is one of Lauren & Brad's favorite places to spend an afternoon. It's free to all guests (tickets to reserve your time slot is suggested). There are gorgeous gardens inside the conservatory & fun animals to see inside the zoo portion!
Located just a few blocks from our wedding venue is a gorgeous museum of art! Fun to explore 4,000 years of world history as you view more than 80,000 works of sculpture, photography, paintings, drawings and prints. Admission is free as well!
Enjoy this sculpture garden in Minneapolis with the iconic "Spoonbridge and Cherry" probably one of the top recognized sculptures from the Twin Cities.
Explore this wonderful small town on the banks of the St. Croix river! It is a fun place to spend the day with great restaurants, shops and wonderful scenery. It's a great escape from the urban setting of the Twin Cities metro area.
If you're a fan of good eats, the Twin Cities area will NOT disappoint. Just do some research on Yelp & Google for a cuisine you like & you'll find fantastic suggestions! Just for fun, I have put a list of the restaurants featured on Food Network's 'Diner's Drive-ins & Dives' if you're wanting to check any out!
