How do I get from Palermo Airport to Scopello?

The best way to explore Sicily will be to rent a car. However, there are also taxis at Palermo Airport that will take you all the way to Scopello. Just make sure to ask for pricing before you get inside!

Taxi Pozzallo (https://www.taxipozzallo.com) and Blu Taxi Castellammare del Golfo (https://www.taxicastellammaredelgolfo.it) are two local taxi services that allow you to book online or via WhatsApp in advance. We will provide transportation on Saturday between all events and nearby Scopello accommodations. We recommend renting a car to get around and explore the gorgeous area.

Can I use my U.S. license to rent a car in Sicily?

This answer seems to depend on who you're renting from. To be safe, we recommend applying for an International Driving Permit: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html. It takes about two weeks to get your IDP, which is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
