FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You should plan to arrive by 4:45 pm to allow enough time for check-in and to ensure you're seated before the wedding ceremony begins promptly at 5:10 pm. Please note that arriving late could disrupt the ceremony, so punctuality is appreciated, no "Filipino time" this time!

Question

Are kids or plus one welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate plus ones unless designated on your invite and discussed with us. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach Semi-Formal. Men are encouraged to wear polo shirts, dress shirts, or aloha shirts, please no shorts, jeans, or slippers. Women can wear midi or knee-length cocktail dresses or sundresses. The event will take place at the resort, we kindly ask everyone to dress appropriately to ensure we all look great for the pictures!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request your RSVP no later than April 12, 2025.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors.

Question

What is the address for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available for the ceremony and reception; however, a fee may apply.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Recommend flying into Kona International Airport (KOA). It is 25-30 minutes drive to the hotel where the wedding venue will be held.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While we don’t have a room block, there are plenty of accommodation options in the area. We highly recommend staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, where our wedding will take place, for convenience and to avoid transportation concerns. If you prefer other options, there are also nearby hotels and Airbnb rentals to consider. Feel free to reach out to us if you need any help with your accommodations!

Question

Is there a discount for guests at Hilton Waikoloa Village?

Answer

You can visit their official website (link provided below) and enter "LOC" in the group code section. If the discount is available, it will appear as special event pricing. Website: https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/koahwhh-hilton-waikoloa-village/

Question

Do I need to rent a car for Big Island?

Answer

Renting a car is unnecessary if you plan to spend most of your time at Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. However, suppose you plan to venture beyond the village and explore most of the Big Island, such as the volcanoes, waterfalls, or beaches farther away. In that case, we highly recommend renting a car for convenience and flexibility.
