We met on Victoria's first day at Greensboro College in August 2016. After a bowling alley outing, many dinners at the Caf, and late nights talking, we became best friends. The only bad thing that year was that Chris was a senior and would be graduating very soon. That spring, Victoria played ukulele and sang "Beautiful Thing" by Grace Vanderwaal to him as a graduation present. Fun Fact: Chris still has that song as Victoria's ringtone on his phone to this day. Years went by and they stayed in touch like nothing had changed. They went to each others shows, and invited each other to lake days and parties. At one particular lake day at Chris's church in June of 2021, Victoria asked Chris to be her boyfriend on a jetski, and the rest is history.
We went to Lowe's at 6 o' clock one morning because we wanted to build a table.
There are too many to count! Surprise zip-lining adventure, Mad Splatter paint room, trips to the Gay Dolphin at the beach, driving an hour for apple cider doughnuts... so many good memories!
Chris made the first move in college. He wanted to date Victoria, but she was scared it would ruin their friendship because he was graduating in just a few months. 4 years later, Victoria asked Chris out on a jet ski at Moss Lake.
Our work. The shows we work on, the students we teach, and the stories we create through theatre and the performing arts is something we take great pride in.
