Smith Rock State Park
Smith Rock State Park is an American state park located in central Oregon's High Desert near the communities of Redmond and Terrebonne. Its sheer cliffs of tuff and basalt are ideal for rock climbing of all difficulty levels. Smith Rock is generally considered the birthplace of modern American sport climbing, and is host to cutting-edge climbing routes. It is popular for sport climbing, traditional climbing, multi-pitch climbing, and bouldering.
The Old Mill
There are beautiful walking trails along the river. You can rent tubes and or paddle boards and go in the river. There are great places to eat and lots of shopping.
Downtown Bend
Favorite places to eat: - Wild Rose (we eat here all the time) - La Maggie (good breakfast place) - Bos Taurus - 900 Wall - Barrio - Zydeco (second date was here) - Bonta (get the honey lavender gelato)
Deschutes Brewery Bend Tasting Room
For all you beer lovers this is a place to visit. You get to tour Deschutes Brewery and get free tastings of local beer.
Jackson's Corner
This is one of our favorite spots to eat. Anything you get here is good but Crystal's favorite dish is the Elbows and Cheddar. TRY IT!!!!! There is also a food cart lot right by Jackson's Corner.
