We have chosen to have our wedding at the Iberostar Selection Maya Suites Resort in the Riviera Maya area in Mexico.
Question
How can I book a room at the host hotel?
Answer
When you are ready to make a reservation for your stay, please get in touch with our travel coordinator, Addy Peiffer, via email at book@serenityluxtravel.com. Please place our wedding names in the subject line of your email, and be sure to include the room type and number of guests that will be occupying the room. If you have children traveling with you, please include their ages in the email too. Feel free to visit the resort website linked in the "Travel" section to get an idea of which room type you'd like to book. Sample room rates are posted in that section as well. Addy will also assist with arranging transfers to and from the resort, and answer questions about the event/area. ***Please note that all reservations must go through our travel coordinator; the final date to take advantage of the room deposit will be January 31st, 2025.***

Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Formal beach wear, but dress comfortably. The wedding couple asks that you avoid wearing blue if possible.

Can I book at one of the other resorts nearby?
Answer
Though there are 5 hotels within the Resort we have selected, we ask that you book at the Iberostar Selection Maya Suites. Our group discount and group room block are only at that location. Some amenities are shared between locations, but you may need to purchase a day pass to join us for any activities. If you are staying at one of the other locations, you will need to purchase a day pass to attend our wedding. We have been told that a day pass costs around $100.

Can I book my stay on my own or through a 3rd party?
Answer
While we understand that 3rd party companies may offer a slight discount for your stay, we want all our guests in attendance at our event. We have been advised that any guest not booked under our group will not be allowed into the event. The guest list will be compiled from our room block and 3rd party bookings will not be able to get on that list. Your room must be booked under our wedding block and the only way to do that is to book through our travel coordinator.
