Steven proposed on New Year's Eve the day before the Rose Bowl. He started playing Etta James's At Last and he asked me to dance. He told me how every year I tell him I like to usher in the new year with close friends because I know I will be with them throughout the year. Steven then asked, "Would you spend the rest of your life with me." He got down on one knee, opened the box, and for once in my life, I was speechless. I was in shock, He asked, "Is that a yes?" And I said, "hell yes".
