When we thought about our wedding, we knew we wanted it to be a vacation for everyone we love that has supported us over the years. We hope that this weekend is special not just for us, but for all of our guests.

I moved to Augusta, GA thinking I would be here for a year to get experience at a new job. I never planned on staying in the area long and never planned on seriously dating anyone here. Which is why you can never make plans for your life because you will probably be wrong. Even though it's cliche, when I met Andrew I knew he was different and knew I wanted to marry someone exactly like him. From the first night we met, he has made me feel loved, safe, and completely myself. I have no doubts in my mind he will be an amazing husband, and lucky for me, I already know he is the most amazing dad as well. Andrew is honest, consistent, patient, and a terrible liar. Which is why I knew he was going to propose one weekend we "randomly" went to Hilton Head. If I had to sum up our engagement, it was basically me waiting for him to propose and "get it over with" so we could laugh together about how I knew the whole time that it was about to happen. Some say marriage is hard work, but Andrew makes my life easier every day, whether we are navigating good times, bad times, deployments, or traveling. I feel like we have been married forever and can't imagine life without him - and of course without Kendall, the best plus one of all.

Madalyn and I bumbled upon each other in late January, early February 2019. Bumble is a dating app where the woman has to message first within 24 hours or the match is gone. So Madalyn messaged me and I sent one back, then didn't hear from her for almost 2 weeks. By this point I had forgotten who she was and that we had even messaged. After rekindling our conversation we decided that we would meet up. After an offer of meeting up for mini golf was turned down, we decided to meet up at a coffee bar. To me this was low pressure and removed the need to decide who would pay for dinner. After being at the bar for 3 hours we both decided we were hungry, but the only options open was McDonalds. We ended up staying up and talking until almost 3 am and from there the rest is history. From the first moment we met I could tell Madalyn is a very passionate, kind, caring, beautiful, and intense woman. Listening to her speak about taking care and giving hope to people who don't believe in themself was very inspiring. One thing that always worried me when dating was fact that I always put Kendall first and I never knew if I would find someone who understood that. She immediately put me at ease. She always understood why we could only see each other for 2 days per week starting out or that we could not take random trips over the weekend, but we made the very best of it. Now Kendall and I can't see our lives without Madalyn in it. There is no better person we could have ever imagined. I can't wait to marry the love of my and life and my best friend. I love you.
