Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please refer to your invitation to see all names of invited wedding guests.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The Sheraton hotel is a 7-min walk to the wedding venue, so no transportation will be provided. There will be no shortage of Uber & Lyft's if you choose to take transportation to and from the venue.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Historic average has been 55 degrees on December 10; however the weather can change quickly in Raleigh, so we'll update this closer to the wedding!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place indoors. We are renting the street at the wedding venue and hope to enjoy some time outside during the cocktail hour (and throughout the reception), however being outside is optional.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Street Parking on Blount Street, Person Street, Martin Street and inside City Market is open after 5pm on weekends. City Market Lot (228 S. Person Street). Fees are $5/car Friday night through Sunday. Wilmington Street Deck (122 S. Blount Street) and Moore Square Deck (223 S. Wilmington Street). Fees are $5 per car on Fridays and Saturdays after 5:00 p.m.. Free street parking based upon availability.
