Julie's oldest sister and best friend. When Julie was little, Jane was the person who helped her answer questions like "how big is the earth?" "why are we here?" and "should I get bangs?" Jane's curiosity and adventurous spirit have inspired Julie to love learning and take risks in her own life. Jane lives in Salt Lake City, UT with her husband Ryan and cutest kids ever, Kara and Owen.
Chris Welch
Best Man
Chris is Evan's older and favorite brother. As children they invented all manner of games: tag on skis, ping-pong with laundry baskets, WWF pool wrestling, riding bikes into the lake, and competitive games of hallway hockey that usually ended in one of them yelling "MOM!!!!". As bigger children they've become each other's sounding board, occasional houseguest, and trusted advisor. Chris is now a professional yacht racer and lives in Columbus, OH with his wife Coty and son Harrison.
Kim Leary
Maid of Honor
Julie's second oldest sister and other best friend. Kim is the only reason Julie was ever on time to school in 5th - 8th grade. They used to make up dances to "Rapunzel Got a Mohawk" and "Big Underwear" in the living room, which is probably where Julie's love of music and performing was born. Kim lives in Columbus, OH where she works for Nationwide Children's Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Clay Blackiston
Groomsman
After finishing a hike together on a sunny spring day in Washington, Evan thanked Clay for years of friendship and promoted him to Groomsman: more of a title change than a pay increase, they agreed. Since initially bonding over bizarre thought experiments in college, the two have been engaged in a multiyear struggle to solve the world's least important problems. Whether they're skiing off the top of Mount Hood or critiquing the United Airlines app on a video call, it's all been a blast. Clay is now a product manager at a real-estate startup in Seattle and spends his free time paragliding, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and generally overthinking it.
