FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to us or our wedding planner, Anna Liza Sotto at +63 917 560 7628 (Call/SMS/Viber) or eventsbyems2008@gmail.com
Question

What is the wedding theme and dress code?

Answer

Mickee and I would like to somehow get in touch with our Filipino roots on this special day so we have envisioned a MODERN FILIPINIANA WEDDING with rustic accents. We would appreciate your help in making this come to life by wearing your best FILIPINIANA ATTIRE--Terno for the ladies and Barong Tagalog for the gentlemen. If this is a challenge, then FORMAL ATTIRE would also do. Put on your lovely dresses and handsome suits! When it comes to color, avoid black and bright red dresses, and reserve the white for the bride. We would love to see you in EARTH TONES or in the SAGE & DUSTY ROSE color palette we have provided in the invitation or in the link below. Here are some websites to guide you on how to dress to impress in our event: Filipiniana attire: https://www.kulturafilipino.com/blogs/news/what-to-wear-when-attending-a-filipiniana-themed-wedding Formal attire: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire Color palette: https://pin.it/2N0Qn5Y

Question

Do you have any GIFT preferences?

Answer

As love is what this day is all about, your PRESENCE is one we couldn't celebrate without. We are truly grateful for your time and effort just to be with us in the midst of pandemic. But should you still insist that a gift is worth giving, a contribution to our savings for our future is a delightful blessing! A WISHING WELL will be available at the reception. Alternatively, you may send your support through the following: e-Transfer: mickee3000@hotmail.com GCash: 09164087223 | Leanne Angel Eusebio P.S. We decided not to have a gift registry! And while we would love a wrapped surprise from you, it may be difficult for us to bring it home to Canada.

Question

What is the weather like in Tagaytay this time of the year?

Answer

Owing to its high altitude, Tagaytay experiences a relatively cooler climate than most locations in Luzon. Guests traveling from North America might find it still pretty warm, but Tagaytay experiences the coldest season in December with an average high-temperature of 26°C and an average low-temperature of 19°C. Although December is part of the dry season in the Philippines, the weather can be unpredictable so come prepared for rainfall. Both our ceremony and reception, with the exception of cocktail hour which will take place in the garden, will be held indoors. The evening may bring a chilly breeze so a light jacket or a shawl might come in handy.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour or at least 15 minutes before 11 AM at the venue. The ceremony will begin on time as there will be other weddings scheduled in the church later in the day.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using your mobile phones or cameras during the processional and ceremony. We also ask our guests to put their devices on silent to avoid distractions. We wish to keep the solemnity of the ceremony and we want our guests to stay in the moment with us. We have an amazing team of photographers and videographers to capture the most important moments. Don't worry, you can take as many photos as you want after our first kiss and during the reception. Don't forget to tag us and use our official hashtag!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for an hour or two. Guests can visit some scenic spots in Metro Tagaytay, or hit up some local restaurants and try the local favourite, Bulalo! We have gathered some recommendations you can experience before heading to the reception venue for our cocktail party at 4:30PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is enough parking to accommodate the maximum number of guests for the chapel and reception venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. To stay on budget and due to limited seating capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding can only accommodated a limited number of kids. With the exception of those part of our entourage and a few others that we have allowed, we would appreciate if you can make arrangements ahead of time and leave the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venues?

Answer

Unfortunately, we were not able to hire a shuttle service for guests. If you require assistance in making this arrangement, please contact our wedding planner.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Sadly, we didn't reserve room blocks, but we have some hotel recommendations listed in the travel section of our website. There are also a lot of quaint AirBnBs in the are you can check out. You may also contact our planner if you need help arranging accommodations.

Question

Who do we get in touch with if we are unable to contact you on the wedding day?

Answer

Answer

YES! We have hired a professional team to live stream the wedding ceremony for our dear loved ones who couldn't make it. Here is the Zoom link: The Wedding of Mickee & Leanne Time: Dec 20, 2022 10:30 AM Asia/Manila or Dec 19, 2022 6:30 PM Pacific Time/Vancouver Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82331642235?pwd=YlFGb01Gbm56U2lyc0lJeHZ4YW90dz09 Meeting ID: 823 3164 2235 Passcode: 122022

Question

What is RSVP, how do I do it and why is it important?

Answer

RSVP stands for "Répondez S'il Vous Plaît" which is a French word for "Please Respond." In essence, when we ask you to RSVP, we are asking you to confirm whether you are able to attend the wedding or not. We will need this in order to consolidate guest details and finalize the headcount for catering and seating purposes. You can confirm your attendance no later than November 20 in the RSVP tab above, via our email or through our wedding coordinator. Question

If I RSVP "Yes" but suddenly cannot attend, what should I do?

Answer

It would be sad for us that you can no longer attend our wedding event as we have specifically invited those who are close to our hearts. However, we understand that there may be such circumstances. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the allocation of seats.

Question

If I RSVP "No" but my schedule suddenly frees up, what should I do?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can confirm. Having said that, please understand that we may have reallocated your seat/s to other guest/s. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the same number of seats or one at all.

Question

What are the travel requirements in the Philippines?

Answer

We pray for your safe and hassle-free travel so please be guided by the updated Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) travel guidelines before your trip.
