It was our best friend's 30th birthday on a party bus. Jason was dared to do the "worm" on the way to the next bar, and naturally I couldn't let him win, so I showed him what the worm really looks like. The rest is history!

We went to Hilton Head, South Carolina with Jason's family this past summer, and left engaged! We were headed to a fancy dinner at Sea Pines Resort, where I was told there was a long wait for our table so we were going to have to wait to be seated. We all decided to take a walk on the beach and headed down to the water, where Jason pulled out a large shell and asked Avery what was inside. Next thing I knew, he was on one knee and asked me to marry him. i said YES!!! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you at the Mariners Museum in May! See you there!
