Hello Wedding Guests! Chris and I have made the hard decision to post-pone our wedding until NEXT summer! The new date is June 25th 2021. The health and safety of our friends and family is of the utmost importance to us. We would like everyone to attend this special celebration and feel comfortable in doing so. No masks, not 6 feet apart, and not leaving anyone out! Stay safe, wash your hands, and STAY HOME! As for my bridal shower, that will also be postponed to a later date, TBD. Thank you for all your thoughts and kind words during these uncertain times. We look forward to partying with you all in June 2021!
Chris and I both went to Depew High School, and because of how small the school was we crossed paths but were not really in the same friends group. We weren't even in any of the same classes except Senior year we were in government together. After high school we would occasionally run into each other at the ice rinks as he is a hockey player and I am a figure skater. I was working at the Cheektowaga Rink snack bar one summer/fall where he was playing roller hockey and that is where we would chat a bit but nothing serious. (That's how I got his number!) We didn't begin officially dating until our Junior year of College when we reconnected due to both choosing physical therapy as our post graduate studies. One date to "catch up and discuss our futures as PT's" and the rest is history!
It was October 14th 2018, the day after Leanne's sister's wedding. Leanne was told that there would be a "bridal brunch" the day after the wedding as a way for the wedding festivities to continue for the out of town guests, her being one of them. Little did she know this "bridal brunch" was actually her engagement party. Leanne, being the amateur photographer that she was walked down by the Canandaigua Lake to take "thank you" card pictures for the newly weds, however it turned into her own photo shoot of her own proposal. While her and I were taking a nice photo by the lake, I pulled away from her and got down on one knee. She was very surprised and said yes- it's about time!
