You will have to fly to Krabi or Phuket, then the answer varies based on where you are staying... Staying at the Pimalai: From Krabi airport, the Pimalai resort will organise a transfer with a van/boat straight to the resort. Alternatively, you can fly in/out of Phuket. There is also a transfer organised from Pimalai from there, though it will take longer than the Krabi one. You can see more information about this transfer here: https://pimalai.com/getting-here/ We would recommend you time your arrival so you can spend the full day to enjoy the resort :) so if your flight arrives in Krabi at afternoon/nighttime for example, you may want to stay in Krabi for a night or two before heading over to Koh Lanta. Staying somewhere other than the Pimalai when you arrive or leave Koh Lanta: You may have to arrange your own transport to/from Koh Lanta from the mainland if your accommodation does not have it's own. You can find some more information on that here: https://bridgesandballoons.com/how-to-get-to-koh-lanta/
Planning a trip all the way out to Thailand for a wedding is kind of a big deal. We're really honoured that you would do that for us, so we want to be as upfront about the cost as possible to help with your decision making. Accommodation: see the "travel" tab. If you want to stay at the Pimalai, but would like a different room (we have "Deluxe" rooms blocked out: https://pimalai.com/room-and-suite/) then feel free but that cost is on you :) Wedding events/activities organised by us: we'll cover the cost of these. Other activities at the Pimalai: there are a number of free activities/classes etc., but a number of optional activities that you may want to spend a little extra on. Check them out under "activities" on the Pimalai website. Food: Breakfast is included with your stay at the Pimalai, and dinners over the course of the wedding will be covered by the events. Lunches/other meals will run you around xx in the resort, and xx if you were to venture out for a local meal. Transfers to/from Koh Lanta/your accom: free if you're staying at the Pimalai the whole time you're on Koh Lanta, if not then around 600-3000 baht one way (depending on where you're coming from or going to)
You are welcome to bring them! Obviously only if they are your own kids.
Your presence is the present. But seriously, no additional gifts.
