We met through work at Lenovo. It started with casual chats at the desks and afternoon walks. Neither of us were very sure about pursuing a coworker at first but, after dates to Beach Music and downtown Raleigh, we knew this was something special. The non-stop laughing and easy, fun conversations from the start confirmed, we had to see where this could go.
During a trip to Litchfield with Alex's family, Alex asked if I wanted to go for an afternoon bike ride. 14 miles later, he suggests we pull off. I walked up to a beautiful, secluded courtyard with roses petals and champagne where Alex asked me to marry him. A few hours later, after many phone calls to family and friends, we go to dinner where he surprises me again with my parents, my godmother, and his dad to continue the engagement celebration. It was the perfect proposal.
