FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Literally no. Wear your own wedding gown if you want the chance to wear it again. If you like "matching the vibes" we are going for "vintage garden party" take it and run with it. Lots of lace, cream, green, gold and pastels. If you have that super formal dress you never get to wear, I'd love to provide you the opportunity! If you feel most comfortable in a Hawaiian T-Shirt, here is your permission that its fine by us! Short, long or two piece dress, doesn't matter. shorts jeans or dress pants, couldn't care less. The venue is outdoors and all grass, so heals may be annoying to walk in. If your outfit is only complete with the heals, heres my encouragement that you can do hard things! Think vintage couches, pillars with floral arrangements, a photo booth and of course our four photographers and videographers so please wear whatever you would like to be photographed in. I think we are planning on looking our best something about cuff links and a veil?

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

YUP. If you're in love, bring them! Its a day about sharing the love and I'd hate for you to not be able to share it with that special person. We tried to be as inclusive as possible with the invites. HOWEVER, we are only getting a certain number of tables and chairs but we will have standing bar tables.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. When you arrive at the venue you will come up the driveway and pass the house on your left and the ceremony location on your right. Keep driving straight up the dirt road and you will pass the barn on your right. There will be two plots of land to park in on the left! Carpooling is encouraged!

Question

Answer

Gifts are never expected we truly want to party with our friends and family! But if you feel uncomfortable showing up empty handed we are registered right here on zola!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive with enough time to park and walk a short distance to the ceremony location. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00.

Question

The deciding question

Answer

The answer is yes, its an open bar. As we both work in the service industry its important to us to show love to the real servers of the night. There will be an option to leave gratuity for the bartenders if thats your style! The great thing about a private wedding venue is you can bring your own special something if you don't expect that we will have your beverage of choice. Bring a cooler and keep your own private stash if you want.
