Festive Formal Attire - a mix of cocktail attire and semi-formalwear as 'elevated cocktail attire'. Festive formal attire embraces bold colors, accessories, and playful outfits. Guests can choose to wear what makes them comfortable. Fun colors, patterns, and textures are supported. This is not traditional formal or black tie at all.
Earth tones - various greens, terracotta family, mustard, oranges, beige and browns.
As much as we care for and appreciate your children, this is an adult-only wedding - 21 and up. We understand this may make travel difficult for some families and we support parents in figuring out what's best for you.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and within our venue size. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. We are blessed with many people in our lives and would like to invite as many of our close friends and family as possible. Plus ones are given within specific criteria.
The end of September in Michigan should still be relatively warm, but we recommend being prepared for varying temperatures. The ceremony will take place outside but will shift indoors if necessary due to the weather. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors.
Yes, the ceremony and reception are at the same venue. See the FAQ about the weather for further details.
Both the ceremony and reception spaces are accessible - there are no stairs in either area.
There is free on-site parking at the venue. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are not prevalent in the area, so we are providing a shuttle service, Royal Excursion, to and from the three main local hotels for our guests - more information on exact times to come.
There will be a location on the invitation to inform us of your dietary restrictions/allergies, however, please feel free to reach out to Leann to let us know ahead of time of your needs. Our caterer can provide dietary restriction/allergy-specific meals for guests in need. This accommodation includes restrictions such as vegetarian and vegan, as well as allergies within the big-8 and gluten-free individuals.
Yes, hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour.
There will be a full, open bar! The Brewery provides the alcohol - 3 beers, 1 seltzer-style drink, 2 wines, 2 signature cocktails, and open bar spirits for mixed drinks.
