As many know, Ben and I met at work. At the time, he was going to school to finish out his degree and then working two jobs right after. I was going to school full time, having just moved back home from dorm-life, and working in the evenings to pay for gas. To anyone that asks, "well, when did you know he was the one?" Simply put: as soon as we met! Our friend, Chelsie, formally introduced us because we were both too nervous to approach the other. Our first date was so much fun - we made it our anniversary trip from then on. The week that we really started talking, I had made plans to go to Brumbaugh's Fruit Farm in Arcanum. I did not want to go alone, but they were having an expo that I wanted to check out. Ben mentioned being familiar with Brumbaugh's, so I sort of told him I would pick him up the next morning...a little assertive, but it worked! We spent a few hours at the farm, ended up covered in mud, only to have to turn around and head to work. Slightly poor planning on my part - oops! That night after work, we sat in my car and that is when he asked me to be his girlfriend. Here we are, five years later, getting married! We are excited to see everyone this August!
