Sandpoint sits on the shores of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille (Idaho's largest lake) and is surrounded by the Cabinet and Selkirk mountains. It's also close to Bonners Ferry, Coeur d’Alene and Priest Lake, Idaho. We love that it's off the beaten path. Please don't expect the same amenities you'd get in a big city. For example, Uber and Lyft do not exist, restaurants close earlier on Sundays and travel accommodations are more limited. Directions from Spokane, Washington The most convenient way to travel to Sandpoint is by flying into Spokane International Airport (GEG), a 1.5 hour drive from Sandpoint. We suggest renting a car to have for the weekend but if you prefer you can arrange transportation to/from Spokane to Sandpoint through Bonner Taxi (208-597-3463) // bonnertaxiinc@gmail.com.
