LeAnna's story: Last summer I started working out at Hays Greenhouse. That's were I first met Jayce. He was the grumpy short guy that ran the register and loaded rock. After a few days I started bothering him by forcing him to converse with me. Every time I saw him it was "Why do you look so grumpy all the time?". Followed by a "You sure you're ok?". Every time I asked he always smiled and answered the same way about him not being grumpy. After awhile I got his snapchat and started snapchatting him regularly trying to get to know the Grump. That to led the the exchange of phone numbers and me starting to hangout in the shop more just to be able to talk to him. Eventually we started hanging out outside of work. Our favorite thing was watching movies until 4am with both or one of us having to work the next day! Soon enough, that led to our official first date at El Dos. The rest from there is history!
Every great story has a beginning. This particular one began in June of 2017. It was a typical day of work when a new employee arrived. I was working up front in the store per usual when a very excited girl walked up to me and told me she was to start working that day at the greenhouse. I thought nothing of this and told her to report to the manager. Little did I know this was the start of something amazing. In the days to follow this "new girl" began to hang out in the office where I worked. She began to try to start conversations with me. It was during the greenhouses busy season and I was tired and stressed. She kept asking me everyday "why do you always look grumpy?" We slowly began to talk more and more. Then one day after a long day at work, she asked me to help her to move a washer and dryer to her new apartment. I really didn't want to but I agreed just because I thought she was pretty damn cute. The days to follow came with "what are you doing after work?' and "want to come watch a movie?" That is when my good buddy Garret Hake came to town to see his girlfriend Kelci Glover. I invited LeAnna out for drinks with them. Long story short we ended up kissing. And what followed was her saying something along the lines of "Finally!" The rest is history!!!
We are registered at Zola, Target, The Container Store, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Alternatively we also have set up on Zola (via the registry) a group gift (which is like a GoFund Me) for our Honeymoon!
Please do not have your cell phones on during the ceremony or during the mass. It is a church service and it is disrespectful. We have hired a photographer for this event. Please no cell phones on in the church. Thank you for respecting our wishes. You are more then welcome to have cell phones at the reception, so wait until then and picture your heart out.
