HOW FAR AWAY IS THE WEDDING VENUE?

Answer

Bashall Barn is situated in Clitheroe which is roughly about 1 hour away via car, dependent on where abouts you live.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Please be prepared and arrive no later than 1:15pm to be seating for our ceremony which starts at 1:30pm. For those eager beavers, the venue bar opens at 12 noon.

IS YOUR CEREMONY OUTSIDE OR INSIDE?

Answer

This will be determined by the weather on the day. We are lucky to have a choice which can be decided on the day. This shouldnt impact on yourselves or the ceremony time.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Dress fabulously. no jeans and a tshirt. more formal dressed, however we want you all to feel comfortable.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to costing and restrictions on numbers etc, there will be no 'plus ones' unless stated on your invite. please appreciate this and ask the bride and/or groom to confirm if unsure. If people turn up with a plus one without consulting the bride/ groom, there will be no allocated seat/ meal and they would be asked to leave. please respect this.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

YES! we are very much family people so children are definately invited! there will be a childrens meal which will be decided early 2026 and everyone will be notified of the bride and grooms top choice.

WHAT IS ON THE MENU?

Answer

This is yet to be decided and will be announced in early 2026. Please be aware that if you have any dietry requirements or allergies PLEASE tell the bride/groom on your RSVP in regards to this so we can be prepared for alternative choices.

IS THERE PARKING FACILITIES?

Answer

YES! there are parking facilities onsite. Although, if you are staying at any nearby accomodation, we encourage you to use taxis to the venue as parking can be restricted due to suppliers / bridal party reservation and we wouldnt like anyone to be disappointed or stressed before our wedding. IF you are using the parking facilities, please note this on your RSVP so we can liase with the wedding venue and track spaces to avoid disappointment.

DO YOU KNOW ANY TAXI NUMBERS AND DO THESE NEED TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE?

clitheroe taxis : 01200 443999. tiger taxis: 01772 727272 eagle taxis: 01200 222222 whalley cars and minibus: 01257 888111 uber: via app we would recommend booking your taxis in advance if possible due to clitheroe being popular for weddings! everyone that isnt staying onsite will be needing to leave between 12:30-12:50.

HOW DO WE RSVP?

Answer

We ask if you could RSVP on the website and answer the questions asked or RSVP via invitation. We also will accept RSVPs verbally and via text message however, be prepared to be bonbarded with some important questions. if all else fails contact leanna's mobile 07387308552 We ask all guests that have been invited to the day to kindly RSVP before 5th march 2026. if for any reason, circumstances change from your RSVP to our wedding, PLEASE let us know. If for any reason RSVP isnt recieved by march 2026, unfortunately this does impact on alot of things within the wedding and your invitation may be revoked if we are unable to accomodate. As you can appreciate , weddings are expensive and your invitation costs £££ If your unable to attend as a day guest however can come to the evening, please let us know in regards to this and we will be more than happy to accomodate this for you.

WHAT DO WE GET THE WEDDING COUPLE?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift you could give us, no gifts are expected, but if you'd insist, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be truly appreciated. we look foward to celebrating with you!
