Keeneland is a world-renowned Thoroughbred racecourse and premier auction house located in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 1936, this National Historic Landmark is famous for its picturesque, rustic setting and hosts elite live racing meets in April and October.

Woodford Reserve Distillery
Woodford Reserve is situated among beautiful horse farms - in fact, it’s one of the only places in Kentucky where you can see the state’s two most famous products – Bourbon whiskey and thoroughbred horses – maturing side-by-side. The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States.
The Burl Arcade
We went on our second date here and needless to say we had a blast. (Leander is no good at skee-ball). The Burl has quickly become one of the most prolific venues in the commonwealth.
Kentucky Horse Park
The Kentucky Horse Park is a 1,200-acre working farm, educational theme park, and premier equestrian competition venue in Lexington, Kentucky, dedicated to celebrating the human-horse connection. Founded in 1978, it features museums (including the International Museum of the Horse), horse shows, and daily exhibitions.
The Distillery District
You’ll find two working bourbon distilleries on the historic site, which serves as an anchor for the up-and-coming neighborhood. Plus, the easily walkable area combined with its diverse food and drink offerings makes the Distillery District one of Lexington’s most exciting hotspots.
