We meet in our sophomore year of high school in the back of our American Government class. Up until this point, Lea had no idea that Jason even existed. After many weeks of getting told to stop talking, Lea added Jason on Snapchat. Jason historically is a terrible texter. It was not an easy task to get Jason to hold conversations longer than three messages. After much perseverance, Lea and Jason started hanging out and talking constantly. If you know Jason, once he's comfortable with you, he doesn't shut up. After a couple of weeks of talking and a few dates, Lea and Jason became inseparable. After high school Jason started his Computer Science degree at SIUE and Lea went to Cosmetology school... Eventually. Jason was one of Lea's biggest supporters when it came to getting her business off the ground. Even now that the business is thriving, Jason is always on board to help out whenever needed. Mainly putting together shelving. Jason proposed at Silver Lake in Highland IL on July 29th in 2023. Jason put together not only the most beautiful proposal, he put together a wonderful evening with their families and closest friends. Even though the day didn't go exactly as Jason planned, they still had the most fun. And they didn't pay for a single drink! Jason and Lea chose to wait until Jason graduated to start wedding planning. Plus, the end of 2023 was not it for Lea. Once Jason and Lea had their big kid jobs under their belt, they started the process of buying their first home! They fell in love with a 1940's fixer upper and what was supposed to be a starter home, is turning into their dream home. Plus they got married in their living room, so they can't really move now.
