Whenever we told people we were getting married near Keene, people would immediately say "Oh, you should hike Mt. Monadnock!" When we said we weren't hikers, people would immediately say, "Oh, you should NOT hike Mt. Monadnock." Nevertheless, it is here. It is beautiful. Plan your hike/not-hike accordingly.
