Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Leah Glazer and Tim Taylor
This is the page that most excites Leah and where she will absolutely exceed the character limit. Denver offers endless food and brews where you can walk, light rail, scooter, or bike to all of these. It's also easily accessible to the mountains and desert lands with a rental car. The below may be overwhelming, but we want to recommend experiences inside and outside the city for anyone thinking about extending their stay. We hope you do!
Peaks Lounge

Peaks Lounge

650 15th Street, Denver, CO 80202
, (303) 436-1234

Best views of the mountains and city. The bar fills up for sunset so get there early if you want a window seat!

Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station

Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station

1338 1st Street, Denver, CO 80204
, (866) 636-9969

The only museum to break all museum rules by encouraging you to touch everything. It's a wild ride. Like, as if The Fifth Element were directed by Jim Henson.

Cruise Room

Cruise Room

1600 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202
, (303) 825-1107

The Cruise Room is inside the Oxford Hotel (across the street from Union Station!) and opened the day after prohibition ended. Nearly all decor is original and it just so happens Tim and Leah first talked about marriage here! With that said, it's probably more noteworthy that Jack White shot his music video for "Would You Fight For My Love?" here.

Coors Field

Coors Field

2001 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205
, (303) 292-0200

We're only okay! But our tickets are fair and what's not to like about basking in the sun with ballpark food?

Denver Union Station

Denver Union Station

1701 Wynkoop Street, Denver, CO 80202
, (303) 592-6712

It's more than just a train station! Union Station hosts several restaurants, bars, a book store, and a farmer's market on the weekends. It's also a great spot to people watch.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465
, (720) 865-2494

Check Red Rock's lineup to see if a show of interest lines up with your visit! And if not, you can still visit the venue during the day and tour the museum underneath. Hiking trails also surround the park! Be sure to call the morning of your visit to confirm when the park closes ahead of a show.

Pearl Street Mall

Pearl Street Mall

1942 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302
, (303) 449-3774

Pearl Street Mall offers tons of shops and restaurants along a pedestrian mall. Enjoy the backdrop of the flatirons and street performers. Or make a day trip of it and hike at Mt. Sanitas or Chautauqua Park. Brewery hop (safely!) to Avery Brewing, Sanitas Brewing, Upslope Brewing and many, many more. Roughly a half hour west with a car.

Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904
, (719) 634-6666

About 1.5 hours south of Denver you'll find awesome rock formations in Colorado Springs. Make a day trip of it by swinging by Manitou Springs, tour the Olympics training center or Cave of the Winds, or dare to scale the Manitou Incline. Top off the day at Leah's favorite restaurant, The Rabbit Hole!

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO
(970) 586-1206

The park that made Leah move to Colorado. Please note, it will be challenging to get in this time of year. The park now requires a reservation per vehicle using their Timed Entry Reservation system. It is wise to check the below site end of April/early May to secure a reservation during your visit. This fills up very quickly! Don't feel too defeated if you're unable to secure a reservation. Estes Park is a lovely mountain town just outside the park that's a worthwhile visit in itself. About a 1.5hr drive northwest of Denver.

Breckenridge

Breckenridge

Breckenridge, CO 80424

About 2 hours west of the city, Breckenridge makes for a great day trip or overnight stay. You'll get breathtaking views along I-70 and you'll drive through the Continental Divide via Eisenhower Tunnel. Main Street offers lots of shops and dining options, and they provide free gondola rides!
