We both worked for the same car dealership, but at different locations. We would see each other in passing and make jokes every time we were around each other. We really hit it off at the annual Labor Day Tent Sale. Leah strongly suggested that Tevis invite her to Mexican food and margaritas, and he took her suggestion. The rest is history!

Tevis organized a trip to Brown County State Park. Both of our families were there, and he surprised me with a proposal at one of the lookout towers , with beautiful brown county fall leaves in the background. I was so surprised by seeing my family members at the lookout tower that I almost didn't notice that Tevis was down on one knee right behind me. It was a beautiful day surrounded by family. Tevis proposed on his own birthday , so now we have multiple things to celebrate on October 4th!
