It had to have been fate. Leah spent her first two years in college at JMU and decided to transfer to CNU to run track. During the first week of track conditioning, Leah happened to leave the trainer and run into Shomari. Shomari was heading to the trainer before going to the field for football practice. We had been exchanging messages on Twitter, but never met in person. We walked past each other, but Leah quickly turned around and asked him why he didn’t speak. In true Shomari fashion, he can never “get right.” He quickly apologized and stated that his contacts fell out so he could not see. From then on, we became inseparable. From the first time hanging out playing Madden, to proposing at the Eagles vs. Ravens game, it has been an amazing journey. We cannot wait to finally make it official and celebrate with you all!
